Spiral conveyors with alloy insert RATABEN®
For conveyors designed to transport extremely abrasive and hard materials (fly ash, glass, corundum, grinding, crushed basalt, blasting material, etc.), RATABEN® wear-resistant alloy inserts are placed in the steel piping of RATAJ® spiral conveyors (Type RLV). The production of alloy inserts is made to measure for individual diameters and it is also possible to produce straight alloy inserts, which we use for unloading flat surfaces of tanks and hoppers.
In some cases, these conveyors can be operated for a short period of time without the material being conveyed, materials that are easily compacted to form glued and hard crusts, and, last but not least, requiring complete cleaning of the conveyor piping.
